Tim Lara

Tim brings a practical, hands-on approach to bakery and food manufacturing, combining experience in project management, logistics, and equipment sales. He founded LARA Bakehouse to help commercial bakeries find the right technical solutions by bridging the gap between production needs and supplier capabilities.

Before stepping into the bakery equipment space, Tim managed complex onboarding projects in the logistics industry, successfully implementing over 100 customers into national distribution networks. These complex projects required cross-functional coordination and made Tim a key point of contact for both internal teams and external partners—a skillset he now brings to bakery clients navigating technical projects and capital investments.

Brad Hogan

Brad brings over 40 years of experience managing bakery projects from mixing through packaging, delivering on scope, cost, and timing. With 10+ years leading engineering teams and budgets across multiple facilities, he’s overseen everything from automation upgrades to new product launches.

He’s worked with a wide range of products—including cakes, muffins, brownies, swiss rolls, wafers, biscuits, and crackers—and has deep expertise in key systems like mixing, baking, depositing, sandwiching, and packaging.

Brad holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. His career includes leadership roles at Hostess, McKee Foods, Parmalat, President Baking, Keebler, and Bühler.
